Union of polarities. The birds in the piece are called Arctic Terns, and are among the most nomadic birds on the planet. They have the longest migration of any bird in the world. They fly an average of 56,000 miles from Northern Arctic areas to the Antarctic & back each year, finding the same breeding grounds and mating partner. They meet their mates 100's of feet in the air and are mates for life.

The birds in the piece find represent the union of polarities within love, which is represented by the center circle. The small written symbols in the piece are Rune symbols for LOVE. I wanted to keep this piece minimal, maintaining fluidity, and a powerful composition.
